Welcome Artists, Arts Enthusiasts and everyone interested in learning about the Arts.  This is the place for Arts Education 101!  We're laying the foundation now. You're just in time to help!

Channel Studio M'PRESS's™"Artists & the Arts" Video on Demand Library/Directory was designed to be a resource and promotional tool for artists and the arts. It's on time and perfect for educating the masses, since it's already in position to be made viral.  All it needs from individual artists is to be put out there with the directive, "Get this site to as many of your friends as possible. It needs to be viewed by collectors, gallery owners, government officials, educators, community leaders, parents, teachers, students, everyone!  We're building the foundation.  It's time for Arts Education 101!"

Channel Studio M'PRESS's Video Library/Directory is a tool that, when used to its fullest potential, can give artists a more diverse and expanded audience. Savvy artists will use this Channel as a tool to give interested prospects and viewers a basic education in their art form and creative process. Don't forget, it can also be used as an introduction when you want to set up an appointment for a later date or just want to introduce yourself. (Checkout Answers to Important Questions about the Directory)

The underlying theme of Channel Studio M'PRESS and "Studio M'PRESS presents . . ." is arts education for the masses.  The interviews the artists give are profiles and are meant to answer questions that offer the art novice, who has minimal up close and personal experience with, or exposure to, the visual and performing arts, a reference point.

New artists may learn something new by listening to some of the Masters who have learned the basics and perfected their own techniques.  Fortunately these Masters have chosen to work the 'festival circuit' (my chosen arts venue for exploration), in addition to whatever else they have going on.

If you've decided to get your feet wet and explore the visual arts, use 'Studio M'PRESS presents . . .'  as your main resource.  Tap into the source that can put you in touch with today's Masters.  Hang out with us for awhile, then when you want something, you'll be able to think back and remember what a particular artist said about the process of creating that piece you can't seem to forget!

Mission

The Mission of Channel Studio M’PRESS™ Artists & the Arts is to be a cutting edge resource for the arts and education communities by making artists profile videos available through a VOD Library/Directory, "Today's Masters of the Arts" and creating an international video pal program that serves as a model for future cultural study and art exchange programs.

Objectives

The objectives of Studio M'PRESS are:

1. To produce entertaining and enlightening documentaries

2. To be recognized and accepted by influential members and leaders of the arts and educational communities as a valuable resource for accurate professional and personal profile information on artists.

3. To create and administer an international video pal program that serves as a model for future cultural study and art exchange programs.

Artists need an audience so their work can be appreciated:
  • visual artists need an educated audience that can understand and appreciate their work to the point where they're comfortable making a purchase.
  • performance artists need an educated audience who will appreciate their work enough to pay to see a performance or buy their published cd or dvd.

With everyone's help, Channel Studio M'PRESS's Artists & the Arts Library/Directory can grow and benefit all.  Artists' faces and their work will become better known as more artists interview videos and follow ups are posted.  Audiences and clients lists will grow as the public becomes more educated about the arts and people become confident enough to make art purchases.  More people will talk to their children about the artists and the arts and be willing to take trips to museums and galleries.  We might start seeing more 'families' at arts festivals.  Children get excited at arts festivals.  Their enthusiasm is contagious!   Remember, it's time for 'Arts Education 101'!
